Joe Perice
Owner / Funeral Director
Joseph Perice was born and raised in Cherry Hill, NJ, which has allowed him to develop a great personal connection with the New Jersey and Southeast Pennsylvania areas. He attended Cherry Hill High School East before pursuing his passion for funeral service at Mercer County Community College, graduating with honors and earning his Mortuary Science degree.
Joe’s journey in the funeral industry began early, working alongside his family at Goldsteins’ in the Philadelphia, Southampton, and New Jersey locations since the age of 14. His career was interrupted by a challenging battle with CRPS/RSD, a chronic nerve disease, which sidelined him for nearly 15 years. However, Joe’s determination and heritage as a fourth-generation funeral director in the Goldstein family inspired him to return to work, obtaining his license in 2021.
Driven by a desire to expand his support for grieving families, Joe became a certified grief education specialist. Today, he plays a pivotal role in the family business, prioritizing the needs of the families he serves while also managing the Accounts Payable department and assisting with Accounts Receivable. Outside of work, Joe finds solace in playing chess, a hobby that complements his strategic mindset and dedication to his profession. Through his enduring commitment to his family’s legacy and his community, Joe continues to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those he serves.
