Funeral Director / Liason To The Russian Community

Leonard Koltman, born on July 1, 1969, in Odessa, Ukraine, embarked on a diverse career path marked by compassion and service. After graduating from Odessa Medical College in February 1988 with a degree in Nursing, he served as an Army Medic in the USSR from 1988 to 1990. Following his military service, Leonard worked as a Nurse-Paramedic for the Odessa Municipal Rescue Squad until 1992.

In 1992, Leonard married Diana Koltman and relocated to Philadelphia. He swiftly pursued his professional credentials, completing the Nursing Licensure Requirements and passing the NXLEX RN test in 1994. From 1994 to 2003, Leonard dedicated himself as a Registered Nurse at Matheny School and Hospital, where he was an integral member of the Mortality and Morbidity Committee. During this period, he also served as an RN Per Diem at Hunterdon Medical Center, specializing in the Telemetry Unit and ICU.

Always eager to expand his expertise, Leonard earned a Certificate of Mortuary Science from Mercer County Community College between 2000 and 2002. In 2003, he became a licensed Funeral Director and joined Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Funeral Directors, as a full-time professional, where he also acts as a liaison to the Russian and Ukrainian-speaking community in Philadelphia.

Outside his professional achievements, Leonard takes immense pride in his family. He is the proud father of Edward Koltman, born in 1996.
