Seth Goldstein
Vice President / Funeral Director
Seth didn’t always want to go into the funeral industry. Having earned a B.A. in American Studies at Emory University and then a Master of Science in Journalism degree from Northwestern University, Seth first worked as a sports editor for a small daily newspaper in Philadelphia. It wasn’t for another 2 years that Seth found his true calling in his family’s business.
Seth, a 4th generation funeral director in the Goldstein family, obtained his funeral director’s license in 2010 and considers it an honor to be part of his family’s business that helps so many other families get through such a tough time in their lives.
Seth has been a life-long Philadelphian. He grew up in Hatboro and now resides with his wife and 2 children in Richboro. He says he’s raising his kids “right,” so that they root for all 4 major Philadelphia sports teams, however painful that may turn out to be.
He and his family are members of Congregation Beth Or in Maple Glen, Congregation Beth El in Yardley, and Darchei Noam in Ambler. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Jewish Film Festival (formerly the Gershman Y) and served on the Board of Congregation Beth El for 6 years. Seth and his family are also very active with Camp Ramah in the Poconos.
He is also a member of Masonic Shekinah-Fernwood Lodge #246, 21 Jewel Square Club, and Golden Slipper Club. During the holiday season, Seth and his wife help organize a toy and gift drive for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Seth and the entire Goldsteins’ staff of funeral directors are here to provide information about funeral and pre-arrangement services or give guidance about funerals in general.
